Bojji, a deaf, impotent prince who can't even handle a children's sword, is the focus of the online comic. As the firstborn son, he works hard and aspires to be the world's greatest king. People grumble behind his back about him as "a good-for-nothing prince" and "no way he can be king." Bojji makes his first ever buddy, "Kage" (shadow)—a actual shadow on the ground who knows Bojji perfectly. (Kage is a survivor of the wiped-out Kage assassin clan; no longer a murderer, Kage now makes ends meet by stealing.) The tale follows Bojji's coming-of-age as he encounters various characters in his life, beginning with his fateful encounter with Kage.
